The isothermal methanation of coke oven gas to LNG technology developed by the company passed the appraisal of the Ministry of Industry and Information on January 20, 2015, which is an international initiative. The first plant of coke oven gas-to-LNG in China has been put into operation in Qujing, Yunnan province in 2012. Compared with the multi-stage adiabatic methanation technology, this technology has the characteristics of low energy consumption, short process and small investment.
